The caption read;
                     ‘Before it started raining, it was the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen.’

At times life spills its secrets
Leaves mirrors made from moments
Fragments in the shape of lives
That spread from where it slipped

The picture showed a sky in living colour
Blue that ruptured splashing sprites in flames
No sign of traitor’s storms
That hid too close to run

The caption read;
                     ‘Before it started raining, it was the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen.’

Beneath the words
My mind was held in sunset
Manic lightning burst wordless
In colours too bright for names

In one careless snapshot
I captured worlds about to melt
I saw a storm about to strike
A cyclone gaining speed in shattered cels

The caption, written;

Spoke of what I saw.

Today,
It leaves a carving
A hole that fits around the tangling form
Of years that weren’t yet lived
